ONLINE FERRY RESERVATIONS TO VICTORIA
No more long ferry lines in Port Angeles waiting to get your car on the ferry to Victoria! You can now make online reservations for your automobile and we would recommend that you so so if planning an extended trip to Victoria. You can always park you car in Port Angeles and walk on as a passenger as well. If going for the day, this is the way to go for sure! The Coho ferry comes right into the inner harbour of Victoria and you can literally walk everywhere. If you would like to take a tour, the buses are right there...and if Butchart Gardens is your destination, you can board buses that take you there as well. You really don't need your car in Victoria, but if you are planning on taking one....they have made it so much easier with Online Reservations!
MONTHLY GALLERY WALK
Gallery Walks are a favorite here in Port Townsend. Occuring the first Saturday of every month, galleries and venues in the downtown waterfront district show off the work of local artists. Informal and enticing, the Gallery Walks encourage exploring the many nooks and crannies of the town's historic center. The walks are sponsored by the many galleries and venues, and a consortium of artists. A truly unique happening and all you do is show up downtown and start walking!

FARMER'S MARKET
Our Saturday AM Farmer's Market is in season and is always fun to check out. It is a lively event with live music, great food, local produce, and handmade items made by local artisans. I bet you didn't know that Jefferson County has it's own creamery and the cheeses are absolutely delicious! Port Townsend Cremery just won a coveted national award and it is right here in our own back yard! You can sample them right at the market and take some home.
Of course the cheese is best on Pan D'Amore Bread which you can also buy at the market. Delicious!!
MARITIME ACTIVITIES
The Wooden Boat Festival is scheduled for September 5-7. This is always a busy time with the harbor filled with sailing vessels, and brings people from all all parts of the country who share the love of wooden boats. For more information http://www.woodenboat.org
